FREIJE Treatment Systems develops and manufactures environmentally sustainable water treatment equipment and performs water treatment services for the commercial, industrial and residential markets. Since 1986, FREIJE has built a reputation for solving our customers' water treatment problems using innovation and technology.

Some may wonder how a once small company from Indianapolis could become the recognized leader in environmentally sustainable water treatment. I grew up working in my family's mechanical contracting and engineering business. In 1986 I left that company to start a manufacturer's rep business that sold cooling towers, heat exchangers and other water using equipment. Not long after starting that business a customer called with a pressing problem. The chemical laden bleed water from his cooling towers was going to a small stream and the environmental authorities had warned him that it must stop. He called me to ask if there was a way to treat cooling towers without using chemicals. My answer was that there was "no way." About thirty days later he called back with even more urgency in his voice asking me to "try and find a way." That was the start of what is now our only business.

What started as a courteous gesture for a customer became a personal passion. Developing innovative water treatment technology that actually solves water treatment problems and is environmentally sustainable has been our focus ever since.

Many companies and individuals are aware of the need to be environmentally responsible. I am thankful that FREIJE is positioned to meet those demands with water treatment solutions that are not only sustainable but more effective and economical than the traditional treatment methods.
