Closed Loop Treatment
 The FREIJE Series C® Closed Loop Treatment provides a sustainable, cost effective, non-chemical treatment for controlling corrosion and scaling of closed loop systems. Closed loop chemicals attempt to coat or passivate the copper and steel components to reduce the corrosion caused by dissolved oxygen but they do not remove the dissolved oxygen. These chemicals do not solve the problem and leave a substantial black metallic coating on the piping and heat transfer surfaces. This coating on heat transfer surfaces, depending on its thickness, will increase energy usage by 15% to 40%. The FREIJE Series C eliminates this coating in new and existing systems. The Series C is installed as a side stream filter in place of a pot feeder and continually filters, removes dissolved oxygen and inhibits scaling. FREIJE closed loop treatment services include the Series C System, site visits, water testing (including dissolved oxygen) and Series C maintenance.
